Net-zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions
The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs planned to hold a series of hearings on the roadmap for 2050 goals for Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Governor Baker issued a press release on April 22, 202, and the official determination letter from the State Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs officially creating a goal for 2050. Plans to establish intermediate goals for 2030 and 2040 before the end of the year were announced.
